The Kentucky Science Center has expressed interest in opening a location in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and the community seems to be interested in the idea as well. Telia Butler, Bowling Green's downtown development coordinator, said the city and the Kentucky Science Center asked local residents to participate in a survey posted on the city's website and the Downtown BGKI Facebook page to gauge community needs. Surprisingly, the survey received 26,000 responses, far exceeding the expected 50.
Butler noted that she made a visit with the board on Tuesday to further explore the possibility of a Kentucky Science Center location in Bowling Green. Additional details on this exciting development will be released by News 40 as they become available.
