MJ Conditionnement, a small company in Hartennes-et-Tauk (Aisne) with 11 employees, has been tasked with filling 10,000 cartridges with gas for the Olympic flame as part of Paris 2024. The company’s expertise in the formulation and packaging of aerosols and the filling of gas cartridges has made them a valuable partner to the Paris 2024 teams.

The first batch of cartridges has already arrived, and gas deliveries are expected next week. To accommodate this unique order, a manual station will be set up exclusively for this purpose. This will require the employment of a full-time employee for three to four weeks. The first batch of cartridges will be sent at the end of February to the Paris 2024 logistics warehouse in the Reims region.

Steve Erka, technical director of MJ Conditionnement, is excited about their role in Paris 2024 and emphasizes its importance for the company. “It’s an honor to be part of such a global event,” he said. “Being able to contribute our expertise to something so important makes us proud.”

MJ Conditionnement handles over 3 million orders per year for mass distribution and professional distributors, making them well-equipped to handle such a large order. Despite being a small company, they have played a key role in Paris 2024 and are committed to ensuring its success.
