Last week, the Edina police came to the aid of a family in need during an emergency delivery. The healthy baby boy, named Titus Elliott, was born in the home and assisted by the city police and fire services, which were called to the scene.

The only police Sgt. Darren Davis helped coach mom Ariel and dad Nate Wagner through the labor process, holding Titus and helping Nate keep him calm. Nate expressed his gratitude to the police for their service, saying he is incredibly grateful for the men and women who serve the community so well, especially those who came to their aid that night.

Additionally, Nate shared with the Star Tribune that Titus joins big sisters Eden, 6, and Addie, 4, who are both thrilled to have a little brother. The new family is now back home and little Titus Elliott is doing great.
