Race Across the World, the highly anticipated television series, is set to return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on April 10th. This season will take five duos through East Asia on a grueling 15,000 kilometer race that spans across several countries. The journey begins in northernmost Japan and takes the teams through six seas and eight borders, leading them to the stunning Indonesian island of Lombok.

The teams participating in this year’s race include two mother-daughter duos, best friends, a married couple, and a brother-sister duo. The challenge for these teams is not only physical but also emotional as they are stripped of their smartphones, internet access, and bank cards. Only one team will emerge victorious and win the top prize of £20,000.

Produced by Studio Lambert for BBC One and BBC iPlayer, Race Around the World is an 8-episode series edited by Michael Johnowitz for the BBC. Executive producers for Studio Lambert are Tim Harcourt, Lucy Shepherd, Stephen Day with Maria Kennedy as line producer, Kezia Walker as executive producer, Charlotte Woolley as series editor and Charlotte Jacobs as series producer. Don’t miss out on this exciting new season of Race Around the World that streams on BBC One and BBC iPlayer starting April 10th at 9pm.
