The biopic about the life of Michelle Mouton, one of the world’s greatest female rally drivers, is being produced by Perfect Storm Entertainment. Led by Justin Lin, the company has acquired the rights to Mouton’s story in order to create a film that highlights her incredible journey.

Mouton was a trailblazer in the male-dominated rally driving industry during the 70s and 80s. She competed in Monte Carlo and conquered Pikes Peak in Colorado, defying the odds during the dangerous Group B rallying era. Despite facing numerous challenges and setbacks, Mouton emerged as one of motorsport’s greatest ever drivers. She won four races in the FIA World Rally Championship and remains the only woman to have won a race in this prestigious competition.

The biopic will be produced by Justin Lin, Andrew Schneider, Sal Gatdula of Perfect Storm, as well as Andy Holland and Jessica Sinclair of Drum Studio. In addition to these individuals, Michelle Mouton herself and her daughter Jessie Johnsson-Luthi will also serve as executive producers on the project.

Perfect Storm Entertainment is known for its diverse portfolio of projects that range from films to TV series. Some of their notable upcoming projects include John Allen Chow’s The Last Days and Two for Apple, as well as Seven Wonders for Amazon Prime and Islands for Peacock. With an increasing number of projects underway, Perfect Storm continues to make its mark on the entertainment industry with its unique blend of creativity and talent.
