Chicago-based rEvolution Sports Marketing Group recently launched a soccer-specific division called rEv United, in response to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. The company has extensive experience working with organizations such as MLS, FIFA and Concacaf.

The new division is headed by SVP Bruce Bundrant, who has significant experience in football, having worked with organizations such as Relevent Sports Group, AS Monaco, Liverpool and DC United. According to Bundrant, the agency plans to hire several people to focus on football for the new division.

rEvolution aims to expand its business by serving both football facilities and brands. Bundrant noted that the soccer landscape is currently complicated, with numerous teams, leagues, tournaments and other entities. He believes rEvolution can help brands navigate this complex environment.

As the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaches, marketing agencies are scrambling to position themselves well to win business from brands looking to capitalize on this rare event. There is currently strong competition in this space from both international and US agencies focusing on football-specific departments. Notable moves in the soccer marketing space include GMR Marketing launching a dedicated division called GMR FC and For Soccer Ventures acquiring Gilt Edge Soccer Marketing this year.
