There were four crime reports in West Seattle, all of which occurred during the night. The first two incidents were business burglaries, both involving pizza parlors. The safe at Morgan Junction Domino’s was taken, but there was no significant damage to the property. Later that night, A Pizza Mart was also targeted, but the exact time of the incident remains unknown.

This morning, a reader emailed a photo and report of a dumped safe that was found south of The Junction. It is unclear if this safe is the one stolen from Domino’s or not. The safe was discovered in an alley between California and 42nd, just south of Edmunds.

In other news, carpooling has been discontinued in the North Admiral/Schmitz Park area due to a recent theft. The incident occurred just before 5 a.m., and the suspect was seen checking the car’s handles before attempting to steal it. Fortunately, a neighbor scared off the stray thief before any damage could be done.
