Science Heroes Bring Excitement and Wonder to Harker Heights Library’s STEAM Program

The Science Heroes organization brought excitement and wonder to the Let’s Explore STEAM program at the Stewart C. Library in Harker Heights. This week’s program featured interactive storytelling and experiments that sparked children’s interest in science, leaving them eager to continue exploring the world around them.

Heather Heilman, a reference librarian and science program leader, expressed that this was the first time Science Heroes had performed in the library. She believes that combining different aspects of science within the story helps children have fun and encourages them to explore more about science.

The children who were present in the program seemed completely engaged and enchanted by the interactive storytelling and experiments conducted by Science Heroes. They eagerly participated in the hands-on approach to learning about science, which resonated well with their young minds. The combination of fun and education seemed to be a successful formula for encouraging children to explore and learn more about science.
