The Bachelor of Science in Public Wellness, scheduled to start in the fall of 2024, will address environmental overall health concerns prominent in the Imperial Valley.

Miguel Zavala, an associate professor in the College of Public Wellness at SDSU Imperial Valley, has noticed harm to regional agricultural landscapes in his hometown close to Guanajuato, Mexico, from what he says are the effects of manufacturing industries.
