Pima Community College’s Aerospace Technology program is hosting a career fair and open house for individuals interested in entering the aerospace industry. The employment fair will be held on Tuesday, March 26 from 3 to 6 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interview with local and national aviation employers, interact with Pima instructors and students, and tour the hangar.

According to faculty instructor Chris Barnett, there is a high demand for skilled workers in the aviation industry. Many employees retired before and during COVID, creating a significant gap in the workforce. Barnett believes this demand will continue for some time.
