In London last week, Pure South’s award-winning steak was recognized for its quality at the World Steak Challenge. The company’s Handpicked 55 Day Aged Beef won the titles of Best Grass-Fed Steak and Best Ribeye Steak. This beef is sourced from Alliance Group’s Pukeuri factory in Oamaru and aged for up to 55 days in a vacuum bag. It was one of six winners in the global competition, demonstrating a high standard of quality.
Shane Kingston, managing director of sales and marketing at Alliance Group, expressed his gratitude for the recognition of the hard work and dedication of farmers. He noted that the awards confirmed their efforts to produce the best grass-fed red meat in the world. The angler steak, priced at around $25 for 500g, was noted for its unique and delicious characteristics, making it a top choice for meat lovers. The quality and flavor of Pure South beef make it an exceptional option for consumers looking for premium grass-fed steak.
