Early Wednesday morning, a stabbing took place at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center campus in North Buffalo. According to officials from the New York State Office of Mental Health, three staff members were injured during the incident. The Office of Mental Health is working closely with the Buffalo Police Department to investigate the case and ensure the safety of their staff and patients.

The stabbing occurred in the Strozzi Building around 9 a.m., according to local news outlet VIVB-TV. Two men and a woman were taken to the hospital by ambulance, with one employee believed to be seriously injured. The suspect was taken into custody but has not yet been identified.
