On Monday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced the release of three key players: quarterback Mitch Trubisky, punter Presley Harvin and offensive lineman Chuks Okorafor. The news came after reports surfaced of Trubisky’s departure from the team.

Punter Presley Harvin, who was a seventh-round pick in 2021, has been the Steelers’ starter for the past three seasons. During his time in Pittsburgh, he averaged 39.4 net yards per punt and landed just under 35 percent of his punts inside the 20-yard line.

Offensive lineman Chuks Okorafor joined the Steelers as a third-round pick in 2018. He started 59 games and made 77 total appearances during his time with the team, 48 of which came from 2020-2022.

The departure of these players marks a significant change for the Steelers as they move forward with their roster.
