STEMMER IMAGING AG, a leading provider of industrial imaging solutions, has announced the acquisition of Phase 1 Technology, a New York-based company specializing in machine vision technology. The move is part of STEMMER’s plan to expand its presence in North America and add to its existing locations in Mexico and Latin America. Through this acquisition, STEMMER aims to strengthen its position as a leading provider of industrial vision products in the North American market.
Phase 1 Technology offers a wide range of machine vision products such as cameras, sensors, lenses, industrial lighting, frame grabbers and interface boards. Their focus is primarily on serving customers in the North American market. Through partnerships with top manufacturers such as JAI, Teledine, Hamamatsu, Baumer and Sony, Phase 1 Technology provides its customers with a comprehensive selection of industrial vision products that are tailored to meet their specific needs.
The acquisition should be completed in the second quarter of 2024. With this addition to its portfolio, STEMMER will be able to offer an even wider range of industrial imaging solutions to its customers in North America. This move is expected to generate significant growth opportunities for both companies and further strengthen their positions as leaders in the industry.
