Microsoft is set to introduce a new feature in Windows 11, called Super Resolution, aimed at enhancing the gaming experience. The sneak peek was spotted in a concealed environment within the preview build of Windows 11, which is set to launch later this year.
With the help of artificial intelligence, Windows 11 will receive a boost with Super Resolution. Thanks to a tip from @PhantomOfEarth on X (Twitter), we learned that this feature automatically improves the visuals of your games with some clever technology behind the scenes. You can even customize it for each game to get things just right.
Another tech enthusiast, @Thebookisclosed, also discovered this feature in the preview build of Windows 11 and shared a video on X. If you’re curious, you can try it yourself with ViveTool, which can be downloaded from GitHub. To activate the feature, open a command prompt as an administrator and enter the activation key: vivetool /enable /id:39695921 /variant:3. Be sure to do this after installing the tool. Once you enter the key and restart your computer, the feature should be up and running.
