NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (CBSNevsTekas.com) — When it comes to decorating for Christmas, why not celebrate the biggest gift of the year? The Texas Rangers have just won the World Series and Jesse Gonzalez is proud to showcase their victory at his home on Wisdom Way. His driveway is illuminated with 10,000 lights, a giant LED screen showing iconic moments from the series, and skeleton jerseys – a nod to the past, present, and future of the Rangers.

“Oh, the reaction… it’s been phenomenal,” said Gonzalez. “We’ve had people stop by every day and I get to come out here and talk to a lot of big Rangers fans.” Angela, his wife, is also a huge fan of the team. Their love story began with their first meeting at a Rangers game and they got engaged a year later. So it only makes sense that when the Rangers win the World Series, they would combine their usual holiday light show with their favorite team’s highlight reel.

The entire show was choreographed to Post Malone’s song “Congratulations.” Their family says it was definitely their year to “Go and Get It,” and they hope more people will stop by to enjoy themselves before their real Christmas decorations go up in December. For Jesse Gonzalez, it’s all about sharing his love for the Texas Rangers with others – especially during this special time of year.
