The Diabolo lamp collection by Japanese company Studio Rova is a beautiful fusion of art and design, inspired by an ancient skillful activity. Each element of this lamp collection is carefully and exclusively crafted and assembled by hand, using materials such as brass for the diffuser and artificial leather for the strap.

The lamps got their name and inspiration from the Devil, an ancient Far Eastern juggling device spun, spun, thrown into the air and caught again by a rope attached to the ends of two sticks. Similar to this impressive oriental toy, the Diabolo lamp consists of two “shells” combined in the shape of an hourglass and supported by a strap.

The flying part of the diabolo lamp features two concave elements connected to each other, created with similar movements as a juggling device. This beautiful collection is perfect for those looking for unique lighting options that are both functional and artistic.
