The world’s largest pork trade show returns for its 35th anniversary in just under two weeks. The World Pork Show returns to the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, Iowa, June 7-9. Presented by the National Pork Producers Council, this year’s Expo will provide attendees with a full schedule of events, including an expansive trade show, educational seminars and numerous networking events.

“World Pork Expo has always been about networking, education and innovation,” said NPPC Board Chairman Scott Hayes. “As we celebrate 35 years of the show, whether you’re a producer or an industry partner, World Pork Expo will continue to offer opportunities to discover how to move your business forward.”

Here’s what you can expect from this year’s fair:

Visit the fair that covers more than 300,000 square meters
With close to 700 vendor booths, the pork industry’s latest and most innovative products will be on display all three days of the event. Connect with other industry experts
In addition to the fair, you’ll find more than 50 hospitality tents conveniently located on the fairgrounds. The participants of the fair can stop by and visit the company’s representatives to learn about the latest innovations and developments. Allow plenty of time to take advantage of these valuable networking opportunities.

Start every day off right
Expo attendees can enjoy breakfast at McRig, courtesy of Lopez Foods, Fulton Market Group and McDonald’s, on June 7 and 8 from 8-10 a.m. to help fuel your day of learning and networking. McRig will be located on Grand Avenue, west of the main entrance.

Attend educational sessions to expand your industry knowledge
Included in the price of admission, attendees can take advantage of various Pork Academy business seminars and sessions. These offerings cover a wide range of topics such as profitability, manufacturing processes and more. These seminars provide valuable insight into many areas of pork to help producers take their business to the next level.

Grab lunch at the Big Grill
All event participants receive a free pork lunch from the Big Grill every day! The Big Grill is located just west of the Jacobson Expo Center and will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
