On Saturday, September 16, there had been many Central Lakes Conference and Granite Ridge Conference boys and girls soccer games. In the Central Lakes Conference, Sartell tied Buffalo 1-1 with Seth Davidson scoring the lone aim for the Sabres. Sauk Rapids-Rice lost to Bemidji two-1, with Austin Markfelder scoring the only aim for the Storm. ROCORI beat Hutchinson/Glenco Silver-Lake three-, with Osvaldo Matias Lucas scoring twice for the Spartans. In the Granite Ridge Conference, Cathedral beat Hillcrest Lutheran 1- with Noah Henderson acquiring a shutout as a goaltender.

In girls soccer, the Central Lakes Conference saw St. Cloud Tech beat Detroit Lakes five-. Buffalo beat Sartell four- and Small Falls triumphed more than Willmar three-. In the Granite Ridge Conference, Albany defeated Crookston three-.

Volleyball matches had been also held that day. At the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Invitational, Royalton won its matches against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (two-), McGregor (two-) and Park Rapids (two-). Nonetheless, they lost to South Ridge two-1. At the Neprud tournament, hosted by Crosby-Ironton, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa won all of its matches with two- victories against Barnum, Deer River, Pine River-Backus and Verndale. Maple Lake also had a productive day, beating Northland two- and Ada-Borup West two-1.
