Smiles and laughter abounded as the crowd gathered on the GHS back lawn to draw with chalk and play giant inflatable bowling alley, Can Knock Down, Connect 4, soccer and cornhole.
The purpose of the occasion, sponsored by Guilford Higher College Unified Sports, was “to make it accessible and inclusive for any individual and every person,” mentioned Jaie Carlson, GHS coach for Unified Sports.
The joint CIAC/Particular Olympics sports system “gave us the chance by providing us a incredibly generous donation so we could have an occasion at the finish of the year,” she mentioned.
