Last year, Jamie Foxx suffered a medical complication that left him unable to walk and required months of recovery. Despite remaining largely silent about the issue, his daughter revealed some details about what happened.

In a video obtained by Gossipofthecity, Fox mentioned asking a friend for Advil for a headache and then passing out for 20 days. He stated that he does not remember anything during that period. The doctor reportedly told him that something was wrong with his head, but decided not to elaborate.

The extraordinary case happened on April 11 last year while Fox was working in Georgia on a Netflix film called “Back to Action.” Contrary to initial reports, Fox was not on set and did not need an ambulance to take him to the hospital.

During a special Critics’ Choice Awards event in December, Jamie Foxx opened up about his health struggles. He mentioned how challenging it was to go through such an experience and reflected on his newfound appreciation for life and its art.

Currently, Jamie Foxx co-hosts ‘Beat Shazam’ with his daughter Corinne. Despite the ordeal, the actor seems to be recovering well and continues to work in the entertainment industry.
