On Easter Sunday, four individuals were injured outside a sports bar in St. Petersburg when a group linked to rapper Rodarius Green, also known as “Rod Wave,” opened fire on a crowd. The shooting incident involved over 60 shell casings and six vehicles were damaged.

Authorities have made three arrests in connection with the incident and two more are expected to be arrested following the investigation. During a press conference, Police Chief Anthony Holloway revealed that Kevontre Wesby, Keith Wesby and Christopher Atkins were found in Manatee County. The remaining two suspects have not yet been identified.

The Young Gangsters, or IG, are believed to have close ties to Rodarius Green and were staying at properties registered in his name. Significant evidence was discovered during the investigation, including firearms, ammunition, over $10,000 worth of cash and jewelry at two of these residences. The group is also linked to earlier shooting and drug-trafficking investigations in March 2022.

Fortunately for the victims, all four are expected to recover from their injuries. Chief Holloway emphasized that the victims had no previous acquaintance with the attackers and that they happened to be nearby at the wrong time.
