According to Golfweek, Tiger Woods will debut a new looper at this week’s Genesis Invitational. The report states that Woods will have veteran caddy Lance Bennett on the bag at Riviera.

Bennett, who has worked for several top golfers in the past including Matt Kuchar, Sungjae Im and Davis Riley, currently works for newcomer Adrien Dumont de Chassart. However, it is important to note that Bennett isn’t necessarily a permanent solution to Woods’ bag.

Woods parted ways with longtime caddy Joe LaCava last year, who took over more than full-time last year with Patrick Cantlay. Woods’ business partner, Rob McNamara, played for Woods at the Hero World Challenge and the PNC Championship. It remains to be seen if this new partnership with Bennett will be a long-term one or just a temporary solution for Woods as he continues to compete on the PGA Tour.
