On Saturday, April 20th, the Nashville Health Clinic will be hosting a free event at St. Luke’s CME Church from noon to 4 p.m. The event is a result of a partnership between NFL Alumni Tennessee, St. Luke’s CME Church and Tennessee CEAL Program at Meharry Medical College.

Former Tennessee Titans players will be on hand to sign autographs and take photos with fans, including Al Smith, Brad Hopkins, Derrick Mason, Albert Hainesworth, Joey Kent and Neil O’Donnell. Dr. Donald Alcendor of Meharry College of Medicine and the Reverend Daryl A. Ballard, II of St. Luke CME Church will also be in attendance.

The event will offer more than just health care services as attendees can enjoy music, free food and exercise classes for their overall wellness. Shingles, flu, RSV, hepatitis B, HPV, pneumococcal, Tdap and COVID-19 vaccines will be available to attendees courtesy of Kroger.

The goal of the event is to promote healthy lifestyles and provide access to health care for the Nashville community as part of the NFL Alumni’s “Gear up Tennessee” initiative. In addition to partner organizations such as National Conference of Black Churches, Dedicated Senior Medical Center
