On Sunday, Tom Pidcock dominated the VHOOP UCI MTB World Series cross-country race in Crans Montana, finishing a full minute ahead of Matthias Flickiger. Pidcock’s win marked his seventh MTB World Cup win and second of the season as he continues to prepare for the upcoming Olympics.

Despite a narrow victory in Saturday’s KSCC race, Nino Schurter fell behind in Sunday’s longer race, finishing 2:05 behind Pidcock. Schurter’s performance showed that while he is still a top contender in the world of mountain biking, he may have some work to do before he can compete with Pidcock on an even playing field.

With the Tour de France behind him, Pidcock is now focused on his mountain biking career, with the Olympics as his next big goal. The Cran Montana win adds to his impressive resume and sets the stage for more success in the future. Stay tuned for more updates on Pidcock’s MTB World Series journey.
