Business Insider analyzed Census Bureau data, focusing on metros with the most positive net domestic migration. The data reflects the number of people moving into a particular metro area from other parts of the US compared to those moving out. Several Florida metro areas, such as Wildwood-The Villages and Myrtle Beach-Conway-North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, experienced significant growth in net domestic migration rates.

Wildwood-The Villages led overall population growth among metros, with a population increase of 4.7% from July 1, 2022, to next July.
