Boxing legend Mike Tyson has announced that his upcoming match against YouTuber Jake Paul will not be an official fight, but an exhibition. Despite his retirement from professional boxing in 2005, Tyson is eager to step back into the ring and face off against Paul, who is only 27 years old and has won his last ten fights. The fight will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on July 20th and will be broadcast live on Netflix.

The event is expected to attract a massive crowd of around 80,000 spectators. However, due to its exhibition status, it won’t count towards the fighters’ professional records. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has set rules for exhibition fights, including larger gloves and two-minute rounds. There won’t be an official winner in this bout.

Despite being labeled as an exhibition fight, Tyson clarified that it will still be a real contest between the two competitors. He had previously faced Roy Jones Jr., in an exhibition match earlier this year. In contrast, Paul has recently won his tenth pro-fight against Ryan Burland. While Paul’s success in previous matches may give him some advantage over Tyson, Tyson remains confident in his abilities to outwork him on fight night.

Tyson had a remarkable career with 50 wins before retiring but faced legal problems that saw him serve time in prison in the 1990s. Despite these setbacks, he is determined to make a comeback and prove himself once again on the ring canvas. The upcoming exhibition bout between Tyson and Paul promises to be a thrilling showdown between two legends of different generations.

The buzz surrounding the event continues to grow as fans eagerly await the countdown to July 20th when they can witness one of the greatest comebacks in boxing history on Netflix.
