In a major collaboration, global production company BIG MEDIA and Germany’s ZDF Studios are working on a new documentary series called WILD SCIENCE. This 8-episode, 60-minute series is set to begin production next month and will offer viewers an unprecedented look into the world of Earth’s most feared predators.

WILD SCIENCE will use cutting-edge technology to bring these creatures to life. State-of-the-art CGI, visually stunning footage, and a scientific zoological perspective will be used in each episode to explore the intricate behaviors, survival strategies, and unique abilities of each animal. From the depths of the ocean to the heart of the savannah, WILD SCIENCE will delve deep into the science behind these creatures’ extraordinary existence.

BIG MEDIA co-founder and global head of production Martin Kaše spoke about the advanced technology used in WILD SCIENCE, highlighting how the team utilized the latest advances in artificial intelligence and 3D rendering to create detailed models of nature’s creatures. The project would not have been possible without the support of ZDF studios and their partners. Nikolas Huelbusch, director of Unscripted at ZDF Studios, expressed his excitement about working with BIG MEDIA on this project from development to production.

The partnership between BIG MEDIA and ZDF studio allows for a practical approach to productions like WILD SCIENCE. Huelbusch believes that this series will resonate well with viewers across German-speaking territories and plans are currently underway for additional licensing agreements for WILD SCIENCE outside these territories.
