At the end of June, the Oklahoma Science Museum will host a science camp for adults called “Camp Cryptid”. News 9’s Jordan Ryan visited the museum and learned about the camp, which is part of WMO 21 and focuses on cryptozoology. Sara Schaefer, a pedagogical educator at the museum, explained that cryptozoology involves studying animals that have not been proven to exist, such as Bigfoot, chupacabra and the Loch Ness monster.
The camp is open only to adults aged 21 years old or older. Participants will enjoy themed experiments, games, specialty cocktails and more. VIP tickets are available for $35 and come with additional perks such as access to an exclusive VIP lounge, 10% off drinks all night and one free VIP drink. VIP ticket holders also get early access to the event, allowing them to enjoy the activities before everyone else arrives.
General admission tickets are $25. To learn more about the camp and purchase tickets, visit the Oklahoma Science Museum website. Get ready for an exciting and educational experience at “Camp Cryptid” at the Science Museum of Oklahoma!
