Rebecca Byler, a young Amish woman in the US, was brutally murdered in her Spartansburg home. The 23-year-old pregnant woman was found dead on February 26, 2024, with a gunshot wound to the head. DNA evidence is still being analyzed, but police found disposable rubber gloves at his home when they arrested him. When he was arrested, they confiscated his firearms but not the murder weapon itself.
