Uroš, a technology company based in Oulu, has been at the center of a fraud case involving its founders, Jirki Halikainen and Tommi Uhari. The prosecutor is seeking an unconditional prison sentence for the two individuals in connection with product development loans and grants totaling more than six million euros that Uroš received from Business Finland in the 2010s.

According to the prosecution, Halikainen and Uhari provided false information to Business Finland and withheld relevant information from the organization during the preliminary investigation. However, during the trial, which officially began at the Oulu District Court, the suspects denied all allegations.
