On February 4th, a chaotic altercation involving former NFL quarterback and UT alumnus Vince Young took place at Tokyo Joe’s in Houston. The incident was caught on camera and quickly went viral.

The video shows Young involved in an argument with a group of people at the bar. As the situation escalated, several people approached him, getting in his face and throwing drinks. Eventually, the group moved to the other side of the bar, drawing more participants and spectators.

During the fight, Young was punched by one of the men involved, causing him to briefly fall to the ground before getting back up. The reason for the fight remains unclear. Bar staff members were involved in the altercation and called 911, but no charges were filed.

Vince Young is one of UT’s most famous former athletes, having played football for the school from 2002 to 2004 before going on to play six seasons in the NFL. He was runner-up for the 2005 Heisman Trophy.
