Texas A&M basketball is currently on a roll, sitting at 4-0 to start the season. Their recent victories over Ohio State and SMU have shown their toughness and poise in close games, and their win over Oral Roberts further solidified their impressive start.

Next up for the team is the ESPN Invitational Tournament in Orlando, Florida. There, they will face off against Penn State in a rematch of last year’s NCAA tournament loss. Head coach Buzz Williams and his determined squad are eager to prove themselves on the big stage and make their mark on the tournament.

The latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll has Texas A&M moving up two spots to No. 13, recognizing their impressive start. They went undefeated en route to the ESPN Invitational Tournament, positioning themselves as a force to be reckoned with in college basketball. In fact, they are currently ranked as the second highest SEC program behind Tennessee at #8.

Other SEC teams also made it into the top 25 rankings, including Alabama at No. 22, Kentucky at No. 16, Mississippi State at No. 25 (which is their first appearance this season), Arkansas, Auburn and South Carolina all receiving votes as well. It’s clear that this conference is strong early on in the season.

Texas A&M’s next game in the ESPN Invitational Tournament will be against Penn State, which will be televised on ESPN.
