Jessica Curran and Megan Kelly, both Westhampton Beach High School students, recently showcased their research projects at the New York State Science and Engineering Fair on March 27. Curran, a senior, advanced to the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair after winning first place in the plant science category at the state fair. Kelly also impressed the judges with her dedication and hard work, despite not placing in her category.

Both students demonstrated their passion for science and ability to conduct meaningful research through their innovative projects. The success of these Westhampton Beach seniors reflects the high caliber of education and resources available at their school. They set an excellent example for their peers and made their school community proud with their achievements at the fair.
