BEMIDJI — In spite of snowy skies and sub-zero wind chills, dozens of attendees gathered in downtown Bemidji to watch the world’s shortest St. Patrick’s Day parade on Friday.

The climate did not quit the parade participants either, as a pair of Irish Setters, households dressed in green, and even a man in a kilt marched down Beltrami Avenue as candy was thrown to kids lining the sidewalks.
