Zrinjski has appointed Mario Ivanković (48) as their new coach, following the team’s 3:0 loss to Velež in the Mostar derby. Despite leading the team to a double crown last year and securing a historic place in the group stage of the Conference League, Krunoslav Rendulić was dismissed due to his recent performance.

Ivanković, who has extensive experience working with first teams, is a 48-year-old coach. He spent almost six years with the same team and also worked with the U17 and U19 national teams of BiH. Currently, he is part of the professional staff of the A national team of BiH. Zrinjski stated that until further notice, Ivanković will be supported by coaches from the previous coaching staff.

It is not yet known how long Ivanković will be in charge at Zrinjski, but he will be assisted by coaches from the previous staff when taking on his new role.
