A Celebration of Science and Society: 25 Years with McGill Office of Science and Society

Dr. Joe Schwartz, Director of the McGill Office of Science and Society (OSS), sits down with Montreal Gazette journalist Josh Fried in an upcoming event to discuss the OSS’s 25-year history and its challenges and exciting activities. The discussion will feature several entertaining demonstrations, showcasing the OSS’s achievements over the years.

The event takes place on Thursday, May 23, 2024, with a reception starting at 6:30 p.m., followed by the main event at 7 p.m. It will be held in the Otto Maass Chemistry Building on the McGill University campus located at 801 Sherbrooke Street, on the corner of Sherbrooke and University.

Registration is required to attend this engaging and informative discussion between Josh Fried and Dr. Joe Schwartz. However, it is important to note that this event is limited to in-person attendance and will not be available for virtual viewing.
