Alma Media has announced the completion of reorganization negotiations for centralized advertising sales and digital advertising development. As a result, the company will reduce its workforce by 28 years. Most of the reductions were achieved through separation agreements, while eight people were able to find new jobs due to job description changes. Initially, a maximum reduction of 38 man-years was announced at the beginning of the negotiations.
The negotiations affected the entire business of Alma Media solutions, with the exception of Netel. The reductions were aimed at various personnel groups within the Alma Media solution and included reorganization, work process changes and the adoption of automation to increase operational efficiency. Kauppalehti is part of Alma Media.
