Barkin’ Beans Coffee Co. Shuts Down After Years of Struggles Despite Community Efforts

Barkin’ Beans Coffee Co., a beloved dog-friendly coffee shop in Silvis, Illinois, has announced that it will close next month. Despite efforts to save the business, including extending hours, changing strategies, fundraising and social media outreach, the cafe located at 1251 Avenue of the Cities is unable to recover from its financial struggles.

In a Facebook post, Barkin’ Beans Coffee Co. expressed their gratitude to their loyal customers and supporters for their unwavering support throughout the years. The closure is a reminder of the challenges facing small businesses, especially in the current economic climate. It serves as a call for continued support of local businesses and the impact they have on the community.

Despite the impending closure, Barkin’ Beans Coffee Co. is still planning to host a Corgis and Coffee event on April 6th at 10 a.m. The business owner thanked everyone for their support and gratitude, expressing his love for his customers and the community he has built.

The exact closing date has not yet been set by Barkin’ Beans Coffee Co., but they have assured customers that they will be notified once it is determined. The cafe owner encouraged everyone to come out to the Corgis and Coffee event on April 6th and celebrate their time together before saying goodbye to this beloved coffee shop.
