Bojangles Celebrates Loyal Customer’s 105th Birthday with Leg and Thigh Feast: A Story of Consistency and Southern Hospitality

Bojangles, a popular restaurant in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, celebrated the 105th birthday of one of its loyal customers, Charlie Lenz. Lenz, who has been visiting the restaurant for decades, is known for his love of leg and thigh meals.

The surprise party was thrown by Bojangles’ regional manager, Horace Spencer. Lenz was delighted to celebrate his special day with friends and family gathered at the restaurant. He wore a Bojangles’ crown as he entered the restaurant and was surprised by the party.

Spencer said that Lenz usually visits Bojangles with family and friends from his nearby church on Sundays after church services. His consistent order of the $8 leg and thigh meal, which includes two pieces of chicken, two sides and a biscuit, is always prepared in advance for him by the restaurant staff.

Bojangles was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1977 and has since become a well-known chain with over 800 restaurants in 17 states across the United States. The company focuses on providing Southern-inspired dishes such as chicken and biscuits to its customers.
