On Sunday, the starting lineup at Dover Motor Speedway will feature the fastest driver from Saturday’s qualifying session. Kyle Busch, driving a Chevrolet, was the fastest with a time of 17.509 seconds on the 1-mile track. Four other Chevrolet drivers also advanced to the final round of qualifying: William Byron, Alex Bowman, and AJ Allmendinger who finished third, ninth, and tenth respectively.

Ryan Blaney was the fastest Ford driver in qualifying with a time of 17.648 seconds. Noah Gragson, Chase Briscoe, and Michael McDovell also advanced to the second round of qualifying in their Fords. Unfortunately, Eric Jones will miss Sunday’s race after suffering a compression fracture in his lower vertebra last week at Talladega.

Two Toyota drivers made it to the second round of qualifying: Tyler Reddick and Denny Hamlin. Martin Truex Jr., who won last season at Dover, qualified 15th while Jimmie Johnson, an eleven-time winner at Dover, had the fifth fastest time in practice but qualified 27th. The race at Dover will begin at 2:11 p.m., with coverage on FS1 starting with NASCAR RaceDay at 1:00 p.m.
