To mark Mental Health Awareness Month, Downtown Summerlin has set up displays that highlight the importance of mental health. One of these displays features Tony Tasset’s ‘Mood Sculpture’, which promotes the idea of embracing a range of emotions as part of one’s mental well-being.
Halee Harczinski, Senior Director of Marketing for Downtown Summerlin, emphasized the need to address mental health issues for people of all ages. She noted that the latest sculpture, which portrays different moods, could help initiate conversations about mental health.
Visitors can explore the various moods represented by the sculpture in the butterfly garden below the Pavilion on the property. Organizers suggest that individuals prioritize their mental well-being through activities such as exercise, therapy, and participating in events like shopping at the weekly farmers market.
Overall, Downtown Summerlin aims to raise awareness about mental health and promote self-care practices during Mental Health Awareness Month. By providing a space for reflection and discussion, they hope to inspire individuals to prioritize their mental well-being.
