The USA squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 has been announced, with Corey Anderson named as part of the team. Anderson, a former New Zealand ODI and T20 World Cup player, will be joined by Ali Khan and Shayan Jahangir in the tournament.

Ali Khan is known for his experience in T20 leagues around the world, but has limited experience in T20Is. Shayan Jahangir, who started his career in Pakistan, has previously represented USA in ODIs. Monak Patel and Aaron Jones were retained as captain and vice-captain respectively after leading the team to a series win against Canada.

The USA is scheduled to host the West Indies in June for the T20 World Cup 2024. Gajanand Singh and Usman Rafiq were left out of the squad. Milind Kumar, a former Delhi player and top scorer in India’s Ranji Trophy, is also part of the squad. The team will begin the tournament with a match against Canada in Dallas on June 1st.
