The government has formed a special working group within the tax department to fight against criminal organizations in the Arab sector through economic measures and levers. This initiative was announced on Thursday, April 18 by Roy Kahlon, head of the department of the head of the government ministry for fighting crime in the Arab sector, and Shai Aronovitch, director of the tax department.

According to a statement from the press service of the head of government, the economic component is a significant factor in the strength of criminal organizations and key to their destruction. The task force will work to develop a plan for economic warfare against these criminal organizations and will prepare a strategic program aimed at dealing a fatal economic blow to these entities.

The focus of this initiative is to address criminal activity within the Arab sector using economic measures. By targeting these groups with economic tactics, the task force hopes to significantly weaken and eventually eliminate their operations. The collaboration between the tax department and the ministry to fight crime in the Arab sector highlights the government’s commitment to addressing crime and security issues within the Arab community.
