The Future of Healthcare: Harnessing AI to Save Lives and Improve Quality of Life through Global Collaboration

A first-of-its-kind conference was held in Israel, initiated by Rabbi Yossi Arablich, chairman and founder of the organization “For Your Good.” The event brought together senior managers of AI companies from Israel and around the world, leading international scientists and health system executives. The goal was to create collaboration and utilize the technological revolution of artificial intelligence (AI) for the purpose of saving lives, extending lifespans, and improving quality of life.

Among the organizations that participated in the conference were Google, Microsoft, Mobileie, and Check Point, all leaders in global AI development. State President Yitzhak (Boji) Herzog gave his blessing to the participants, emphasizing the connection between Israel’s health system and innovation. President Herzog recognized the importance of the conference in understanding the implications of AI and praised Rabbi Josiah Arablich for his dedication to helping patients receive professional help and support.

During the conference, prof. Ran Blitzer from Klalit Health Fund discussed the latest developments in AI applications in medicine. He highlighted how artificial intelligence can be used for early disease detection, improving outcomes, reducing hospitalization days, revolutionizing doctor-patient relationships, and returning medicine to its core principles.

Alon Chaimovich, CEO of Microsoft Israel, and prof. Yossi Matias, vice president of Google Worldwide also emphasized on how important it is for AI technology to be utilized effectively in healthcare to improve patient outcomes by predicting diagnosing treating diseases more efficiently than ever before.

The conference also addressed challenges facing Israel’s healthcare system such as a lack of specialized workforce with Prof Zion Hagai emphasizing that investing in human resources is crucial for healthcare professionals to harness this potential for better patient care.
