DCS Corp. was awarded a contract by the US Navy to provide engineering, program and technical support services. The contract will focus on addressing challenges related to maritime visible, electro-optical/infrared advanced intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems and technology.
According to the contract, DCS Corp. will conduct research and development related to the generation and use of radiation in the wavelength region between near-ultraviolet and far-infrared wavelengths. This work will help improve the DoD's capabilities in this critical area.
The contract has a base value of $9.7 million, with a cumulative value of $49.8 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC, with an expected completion date of April 2025.
