Helfrich, a native of Mandan, holds undergraduate social work degrees from North Dakota State University and Minot State University, and a master’s degree in social work from Western New Mexico University. She specializes in trauma-focused therapy and is board certified in trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
