Amvins Underwriting division’s Amvins Program Underwriters (APU) recently launched its HNOA home health care program, specifically designed to provide rental and non-owned auto liability coverage for home health care operations. As the demand for home health care services continues to rise, with seniors choosing to stay in their homes for longer periods of time and advances in medical procedures that allow for at-home recovery, APU’s specialized HNOA program is tailored to address the unique challenges faced by home health care providers when providing essential services to patients in their homes.
Julie Reisinger, program manager at APU, emphasized the importance of working with experts who are well versed in health care development. She highlighted the team’s commitment to creating customized coverage solutions for policyholders, ensuring long-term protection for their clients. Coverage under the HNOA Home Health Care Program is available in all states except Louisiana and offers independent liability for rental and non-owned automobiles with limits up to $5 million. The program applies to various classes of businesses such as doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physical therapists and more. However, orders involving the transportation of clients, patients or passengers are not eligible for this particular program.
At Amwins, healthcare professionals are deeply involved in the market and maintain strong relationships with top operators. This allows them to offer clients the precise coverage they need to protect their business. The goal of the HNOA Home Health Care Program is to provide comprehensive and customized insurance solutions for home health care providers, providing them with the protection they need to navigate the evolving healthcare landscape.
