Apple has announced that it is currently working on developing a new pen that will be compatible with the Vision Pro viewer. This pen will feature support for the visionOS operating system, which is the foundation of the Vision Pro browser. The pen has already passed internal testing and is set to improve the capabilities of the Vision Pro viewer.

The Vision Pro viewer is Apple’s latest venture into mixed reality (MR) technology, which was announced last June and launched in February in the United States with a starting price of $3,499. This browser uses spatial computing technology, features a three-dimensional user interface, and allows users to interact with applications using hands, voice, and eyes.

Apple’s aim with the Vision Pro viewer was to revolutionize the way people work, collaborate, connect and relive memories through entertainment. The company aimed to create the most advanced consumer electronics device ever. To achieve this goal, Apple developed a stylus that is currently only compatible with various iPad models (Pro, Air, mini). However, a new version of this stylus is in development and will have visionOS support.

According to MacRumors sources familiar with the matter, this new stylus will require a software update and Apple is expected to release it at its developer conference VVDC in June along with the second version of visionOS. With this new addition to its lineup of products
