Liz Truss, the former Prime Minister of Great Britain, expressed her support for Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential elections in the USA. She believes the world was safer when Trump was president of the United States, citing his aggressive stance toward Iran and China. Truss also praised Trump's support for Ukraine and his effectiveness in dealing with aggressive regimes.
In an interview with the BBC and LBC, Truss said that it would be good for the world if Trump was re-elected in 2020. She emphasized that Trump had succeeded in preventing the spread of aggressive regimes, and that his re-election could bring to a different outcome for the world.
However, Trump is currently facing legal challenges as the first former president in US history to be prosecuted. He is accused of falsifying business records, hoarding top secret documents and trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Despite these legal problems, Truss still believes Trump would be a better option for president compared to Joe Biden.
On the other hand, Joe Biden's term in the White House has been met with skepticism by some voters who believe he is too old to serve another term. These concerns have led to divided opinion on whether Biden should remain President of the United States.
